Learn about career, educational opportunities at IU Bloomington Health Programs Fair on March 6

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — At a time when even college graduates are having difficulty finding employment, rewarding job opportunities continue to be found in health care. Students will be able to learn about a wide variety of health-care career options next week at the 10th annual Indiana University Bloomington Health Programs Fair.

The fair, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Alumni Hall of the Indiana Memorial Union.

Representatives of more than 100 schools, programs and organizations will be available to meet with students and answer questions about educational and career opportunities.

Sleep Breathing Machine Shows Clear Benefits in Children with Sleep Apnea

Children and adolescents with obstructive sleep apnea had substantial improvements in attention, anxiety and quality of life after treatment with positive airway pressure (PAP)a nighttime therapy in which a machine delivers a stream of air through a mask into the nose.

The benefits occurred even when children didnt fully adhere to the treatment, said study leader Carole L. Marcus, M.D., a sleep specialist and director of the Sleep Center at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. The Sleep Center follows thousands of children and adolescents with sleep problems.

Is Jim Carrey having a midlife crisis — or just creepy?

In the clip Carrey uploaded Wednesday to his official website, the star of “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” laments his age, sighing that if he were “a lot younger, I would marry you and we would have chubby, little freckled-faced kids. We’d laugh all day long and we’d go camping and play Yahtzee and tell ghost stories by the fire.” The sex, he promises (after a wistful pause), would make Stone, star of “The Help,” “thank God” every day that Carrey was “the appropriate age” for her.
