There was a song out in the 1980s by the punk rock legend Jello Biafra called “Isotope Soap” and thats what residents of Japan might be singing as it now turns up that some of them are urinating excess radiation.
The Japan Times is saying that an excess of 3 milisieverts of radiation has been detected in the urine of 15 residents of the Fukushima area village of Iiatate as well as the town of Kawamata.
This confirms the internal radiation and whats scary is that these towns are 30 to 40 kilometers from the Fukushima nuclear power plant! This goes against the advisories and warnings of the Japanese government and officials as they had told us for months now that the situation wasnt as dire as it was predicted by physicists here but each passing week more revelations of the sheer devastation in regards to the power plant and surrounding area keep coming out and just last week they finally admitted that all three reactor cores had melted down, an unprecedented event and that the world was only minutes away from immeasurable disaster.
Now with this information coming out regarding radiation in their urine, it shows how little the officials there knew or had covered up.
Its a safe bet to say that this disaster is far from over and worse than wed expected.
