Eight year old dies in council pool Northallerton – The lifeless body of an eight year old boy was pulled from the water in a North Yorkshire pool yesterday with his mother questioning “where the hell were the life guards.” Kaimen Ward was swimming with two friends and three adults in Hambleton leisure centre where his body was pulled from the water at around 4.25pm. Lifeguards attempted to revive the youngster before the ambulance arrived but their efforts were in vain.
